Bernice Li, MS, PA-C

Master Injector

Bernice is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant with 9 years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University and then went on to work for the USDA in a genetics laboratory before finding her calling in the medical field. She spent 5 years with CPRS working under Drs. Izenberg, Hing, Beil, and Sherick in the clinical and surgical field.

Bernice earned her Master of Science in Physician Assisting from the University of Detroit Mercy and has since been working as a provider in outpatient Internal Medicine and as a national trainer for InMode Aesthetic Devices. She trains physicians and medical offices in the use of IPL, laser hair removal, microneedling, radiofrequency skin tightening, vaginal rejuvenation, and radiofrequency-assisted lipoplasty. She has now returned to CPSAA to serve as a provider in the MedSpa.

Her background in medicine allows her to optimally treat patients with consideration of their full medical history. She has a passion for patient care and strives to help patients look and feel their best. With a focus on patient education, Bernice helps patients understand the etiology of their concerns and various treatment options. She is meticulous and takes pride in employing safe medical practices that mitigate associated risks and complications.

Bernice is BLS and ACLS certified by the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Patty Kutcher, RN

Registered Nurse/Master Injector

Patty Kutcher earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and became a registered nurse in 1987. She began working as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before moving to Michigan one year later. She worked in the NICU at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, but shortly after, transferred to the Operating Room where she began training as a surgical nurse in Cardiothoracic, Urology, and General Surgery.

In 1990, she started working at the Center for Plastic Surgery Ann Arbor for Dr. Robert Oneal. She fell in love with the service and has been practicing with these doctors ever since. She has seen a lot of advances in plastic surgery through the years. She is happy to share her knowledge of surgical procedures and intervention and how it relates to her role as an injector with the Aesthetics aspect of our practice.

Being well-rounded and knowledgeable about all aspects of Plastic Surgery will enhance Patty’s connection with our patients and give them the ultimate experience with whatever route they choose.

Brooke Garcia, RN, BSN, MBA

Brooke is a Registered Nurse and aesthetic nurse injector with 9 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo and began her career in the University of Michigan’s Adult Emergency Department. While working in the ED, Brooke earned her MBA and later spent a year in healthcare consulting, where she worked on a team advising hospital administrations in financial distress. That experience solidified her love for patient care and ultimately guided her back to the bedside.

Brooke began her aesthetics career in Denver, Colorado, training under an injector with 15 years of experience. This mentorship allowed her to bring unique techniques and the wisdom of a highly skilled injector into her own practice, helping her achieve safe, natural, and beautiful patient results. She also works in the operating room at CPSAA, where she enjoys seeing both the surgical and non-surgical aspects of cosmetic medicine. This perspective allows her to thoughtfully consult and guide patients toward the best approach to achieve their desired outcomes. 

Blending her critical care expertise with a love for aesthetics, Brooke provides treatments with safety, precision, and artistry, all while keeping natural results her main focus. She believes beauty is deeply personal and views each patient relationship as a true partnership—combining her skills and knowledge with their unique self-perception. Brooke finds joy in helping patients feel confident and beautiful, while also connecting with them by learning about their lives, families, and stories along the way.

Brittany Hourigan

Licensed Aesthetician, Laser Specialist, Medical Skin Care Specialist

Brittany is a skilled medical aesthetician with over 15 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, including more than 8 years at the Center for Plastic Surgery Ann Arbor. Having worked alongside dermatologists and plastic surgeons, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients. A former esthetics educator, Brittany is passionate about helping clients understand and care for their skin at every stage of life.

Specializing in advanced laser treatments, she has over 10 years of expertise in BBL Light Laser Therapy and deep resurfacing techniques to address moderate to severe signs of aging. Brittany stays at the forefront of skincare technology through ongoing advanced laser training.

Known for her warm, approachable demeanor, Brittany educates clients on personalized at-home routines and designs customized skincare plans for both short- and long-term goals. Whether you’re seeking a radiant glow or need to address sunspots and other concerns, Brittany’s results-driven approach will leave you confident in your skin.

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys tending to her garden, particularly her beloved dahlias, which reflect the beauty she shares with her clients.

Julie Zahran

Licensed Aesthetician, Laser Specialist, Medical Skin Care Specialist

Julie is a Licensed Aesthetician in the state of Michigan. Julie, an Ann Arbor local, is passionate about the art and science of preserving and rejuvenating your skin. She started her esthetics career after graduating from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute – Ann Arbor.

Julie specializes in advanced aesthetic treatments including: BBL Forever Young for pigmentation and redness, BBL Forever Clear for acne, Clear V for spider veins, laser hair removal, CoolSculpting®, microneedling, Nano and MicroLaser Peels, Profractional and Full-Field Ablative Resurfacing, Morpheus8, chemical peels, dermaplaning, HydraFacial, DermaSound and Rezenerate Facials.

Julie is comprehensive in her approach, addressing the total health and well-being of your skin. Her goal is to provide immediate and long-term corrective solutions for all skin concerns while helping each client embrace and protect their natural beauty. Amber Williams

Licensed Aesthetician, Certified Master Arch Expert

Amber is a licensed esthetician with over nine years of professional experience in advanced skincare. A graduate of the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Ann Arbor, she received comprehensive training in skin physiology, ingredient science, and corrective skincare techniques. Her expertise centers on treatments that promote both long-term skin health and visible, confidence-boosting results.

Amber’s passion for skincare began with her own experiences growing up with eczema and acne, challenges that shaped her deep understanding of how skin conditions can affect not just physical comfort, but also self-esteem. This personal journey continues to inform her empathetic, results-focused approach to every client she treats.

She specializes in clinically proven treatments including DiamondGlow, HydraFacial, VI Peel, and laser hair removal, designing customized protocols to address acne, hyperpigmentation, aging, and textural concerns. Amber stays at the forefront of emerging technologies and techniques to ensure safe, effective outcomes for all skin types and conditions.

In addition to her clinical skincare expertise, Amber is a certified Master Arch Expert and Trainer through Benefit Cosmetics. Her passion for brow artistry allows her to combine precision and creativity, crafting symmetry and balance that enhance each client’s natural beauty. For Amber, shaping brows is more than just artistry; it’s an opportunity to connect, listen, and help each client feel truly seen and confident.

Clarissa Mezquitic-Nava

Licensed Aesthetician, Medical Skin Care Specialist

Clarissa is a Licensed Aesthetician with over 3 years of experience. She got her start in aesthetics and obtained her licensure as an apprentice at Aura Health and Spa, a medical spa located in Plymouth, Michigan. Before becoming an aesthetician, Clarissa graduated from Michigan State University and had a career in policy writing and crisis response. During her career in policy, Clarissa found her true passion lies in skincare and aesthetics. During her work day she passively would watch skincare tutorials, fascinated by the changes that topical products brought to the skin. She found herself shopping for the latest and greatest products, and trying treatments from different spas, all in the pursuit of skin she felt confident in. When her friends and family started asking her for recommendations, she found herself in a role she loved – skincare advisor, expert, and trusted guide. Using her knowledge of skincare, ingredients, and technology she aims to help those around her achieve their most confident selves.

As a Licensed Aesthetician, and Medical Skin Care Specialist, Clarissa strives to treat every patient she meets with kindness, compassion, and empathy. Her treatment plans center around helping patients achieve their skin goals, while also taking into consideration their lifestyle. She strives to make her treatment room a safe and comfortable environment. Clarissa loves working with diverse patient populations, especially those dealing with stubborn hyperpigmentation. 

Clarissa’s favorite treatments to provide are Morpheus8, Hydrafacial, and SkinPen. Her personal favorite treatment to receive is Botox. 

Clarissa believes in being a lifelong student, and prides herself on continuously learning. Following her apprenticeship, she has obtained several certificates, including HFX certification from Hydrafacial. She looks forward to growing her expertise with CPSAA, especially with energy based technologies and regenerative aesthetics.  

Chaeli Boone

Licensed Aesthetician, Laser Specialist, Medical Skin Care Specialist

With 9 years of experience in the medical aesthetics and dermatology industry, Chaeli is a licensed medical aesthetician with a Bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications in Sciton laser, InMode Morpheus8 and Triton laser hair reduction, SkinPen microneedling, VI Peels, and medical-grade skincare.

She specializes in results-driven treatments tailored to each client’s unique skin goals, combining clinical knowledge with a personalized, patient-focused approach.

Rana Walls Williams, RN

CoolSculpting® Provider

Rana is a registered nurse and experienced CoolSculpting® provider with more than 29 years of healthcare experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Known for her calm demeanor, advanced skill set, and compassionate approach, Rana helps patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey.

In addition to providing CoolSculpting treatments, Rana works extensively in the operating room and as a labor and delivery nurse, bringing a broad clinical background and a high standard of safety to every patient interaction.

Rana believes CoolSculpting is one of many tools that can help patients enhance their natural beauty and feel more confident. She works closely with each patient to understand their goals and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.

With an emphasis on education, comfort, and realistic outcomes, Rana is dedicated to delivering safe, effective treatments and results that align with each patient’s goals—ensuring a supportive and positive experience from consultation through completion.
