This patient came to us with a clear goal and a meaningful deadline. Her son's wedding was three months away, and she wanted to reduce the appearance of the bags under her eyes in time for the occasion.

Dr. Galina Primeau performed bilateral lower lid blepharoplasty with bilateral canthopexy to address the prominent under-eye fullness and lower lid laxity visible in the before photo. Facial fat grafting was performed at the same time, with 15.5 cc of fat grafted to several areas including the lateral cheek, mid cheek, and lateral brow. The 36 cc of lipoaspirate was harvested from the lower abdomen, centrifuged, and placed precisely using a cannula. Approximately two weeks before surgery, she also received Botox from PA injector Bernice Li. About a month after surgery, PA injector Bernice Li administered 1 mL of Juvederm Voluma to the cheeks and chin, and 1 mL of Juvederm Volux to the chin and jawline.

In the after photo, the under-eye area appears less prominent, with softer transitions from the lower lids to the cheeks. The mid-face looks fuller, and the overall facial contour is more balanced relative to the before image.
